Everyone in the family circle recognizes Roy in the same old gear! I think I shall get him to replace it and see if they wonder if I have a new man (just to do the garden, of course) .
At least we didn't lose the clematis, climbing up the obelisk, that is already flowering.

Glad you like the photo and -yes- the jacket is waterproof and practically indestructible. I am glad we have managed to do quite a bit despite the showers. Today was lovely but we didn't go in the garden but over to our daughter's and wandered round the garden there. It was their 32nd Anniversary so we went bearing gifts......
Roy actually had to do some watering this evening.
