I like them too - last year my other one bloomed spring & again in fall - hope this year is good for them too!

Mine looked great for two years & were nearly evergreen over the winter. Last July or August they suddenly all died.

I have plants that just give up on me too - tried jacobs ladder many thimes as well as lupins - they just won't thrive in my yard.
