Scented as well, but unfortunately has trouble with black spot now

Do not water on the leaves, I had this last year and this is what it said, as if its not hot enough to evaporate it causes black spot, I had to cut it back even though I had flowers, they came back before the finishing of flowering cycle, I cut mine all off and place in a plastic bag and bin, or burn it. Or you can do one part milk to 9 parts water and spray.

Thanks Sixpence, I'll trythat, but it is such an old gnarled bush now and it is in the soil I think. Doubt if I could get rid of it now. I always get rid ofall the leaves etc in a bag and bin it anyhow. My others are ok at the moment..

I have read on here they paint with copper something perhaps if you ask on questions as I read if you don't paint it will come back in the next years growth and will affect the flower too.
