More marestail

Horrible stuff. A young couple along our road have just had their front garden totally gravelled over but the Marestail is already coming through !

It loves poor soil - so they may well have it keep coming up?

i had loads at other house, forever pulling it out, luckerly none here,

my problem is hairy bittercress its every where,it drives me crackers.

I have small bits sometimes. I bruise them and spray with weedkiller. Then I try to dig the whole root away. It's difficult to eradicate them completely.

i used to grow exhibition veg but the mares tail bores through them it should be in the same classification as knotweed

Yes it does Peppie - comes up through the middle of my densest ground cover. It likes poor soil so I get it in the rockery too.
