I have these for the first time this year. They called them Egyptian Daisies at the nursery. They are just starting to blossom now-Oct. 8- We narrowly missed a frost two nights ago in CT. Are they hardy does anyone know? I like that the backs of the petals are different colors than the front and they come in many colors-purple, white, light blue, pale yellow, pink.

They're Osteospermum, Cathy, and I have only found one that is reliably hardy - O.jucundum. I buy new ones each year as the only other way of keeping them is taking cuttings and over-wintering them - and I don't heat my greenhouse to the level needed.
