Wonderful to see that this gorgeous rose is a rambler. Will be putting several arches/arbours in different parts of my garden over the next five years, & I would definitely put this one in. Have just put in a lovely Veilchenblau rose to climb along a fence, though worried it is not going to get enough sun, as the sun is not reaching it yet .... but it is only officially spring here in New Zealand this week, so am hoping as we move further into the season, the sun will climb higher in the sky & will reach the rose .... just a few inches more & it will! Other wise I was thinking I should move it to a more sunny spot before it gets too established, but it appears to be doing well .... planted three weeks ago & has lots of new leaves growing on it, so I am thinking that it must be quite happy at the moment.
