Thank you. I aquired a bargain today, a 180degree swivel headed hand shearer for doing my edges.....£2.49!! Very neat edges now!! :))

They are like small hedge trimming shears but you use them one handed and the blades swivel around so you can to the top edge and the side edge with either hand...hope that makes sense! I can't recall the name of the shop I got them in....it's a like a big 'poundland' or woolworths style place. ....Something 'home' !! Daft me!

I agree about your grass, how is it possible that yours still looks green - haven't you had all the hot dry weather ?
Mine is parched, completely devoid of green in places and looks shocking :-(((

We have had amazing dry and warm weather Louise...it can only be down to Westland's lawn feed applied in the spring I think. The front is yellow and it wasn't fed.

Ah, yes, that would improve it, interesting experiment there then !

Having said this Louise, I look around and my neighbours very neglected grass is still fairly green too, it must be because we don't get it so hot here!
