Tanacetum densum - 2010

Tanacetum densum - 2010 (Tanacetum densum)

I love the foliage on this one - intensely grey and almost fern-like in shape. For sharply drained soil in full sun where it will grow to just under a foot tall

I have a camera with a macro facility - this allows me to get very close to teh subject and keep it in focus.
This plant has a yellow flower and grey leaves so the colours are true

Plants have a genus name (in this case tanacetum) and a species name (densum). Where a species has slightly different variants in different locations in the wild, they may be given a subspecies as well.

You may like to look at my blog 'How Plants Are Named', written in February 2008
