Back garden

Now that is what I call a well planted border.

Thanks :-) We plan on rasing it a bit,just to give it some shape and give me some more space in the front for some cascading plants.

Lovely planting,Columbine,we did that with one of ours,next to a path,and it does look better.We used 12"high log roll,which was sunk about 4" deep.... the cheapest at the time,intending to do something better at a later date...almost nine years later,still there,! but ready for replacing now...might do the same again,as I like the wood effect.I like your mixed colours,they look good together :o))

In the local GC they sell little wooden fence quite cheap,that's what we plan on buying.looks better than log rolls.
This border is a mix of sun &shade,so I can mix up the planting nicely.

That sounds nice,columbine,will look at that option as well.
