I love Monarda too. Unfortunately this year it is about 6' high and has flattened some other things by flopping over. Just been out and tied it up...mine's pink.

I will get a pink one next year, because one that I bought this year was supposed to be pink but it is the same as the one I have already. Labels in GC is getting worse. Love the smell of them.

Looks like the sun is coming out a bit,but it's getting proper windy now!
I've got some pics of the red ones up,but now they're at their best&the purple ones are starting to flower, looking good(minus the wet, grey&wind).

Lovely the red Monarda just had a look - this one called Squaw is like an Indian Headress - it comes with two flowers, one flower then another coming out of the top a bit like a firecracker going off, but sometimes they only come with the one flower, like it better when it is showing off.

My garden is now flooded!

We have had a lot of rain in last 24 hours thunder and lightening also, but no floods. Just put the geraniums into the new rose border and it is bone dry up there, just the top 1/2 inch wet, had to take some water up and water them in. Sent you a pm about roses have had another look and think it will take all four of those shrub roses, plenty of room. See what you think to them and let me know. Hope it soon stops raining for you.

pm'd you just now.....great...another one then! Must say, my two best newbies this year......Queen of Sweden (pale peachy pink) and Princess Alexandra of Kent (deeper peachy and then turning more pinky). Disappointed with Darcy Bussell, flowers small, bush very prickly and small and sickly looking. The rest have all been lovely but those two have really been gorgeous!

Looked at Darcey Bussell thought it looked a tad too small flower for my liking. Really love the bigger flowers, hope they take alright. have listed them in David Austins web pages so will order if you think they are ok.
