With our old shed having succumed to a nasty case of rot, I decided it was time to revamp our patio area. Two years later I'm very pleased with the result of all lmy efforts.. With lots of glass on two sides of the summrhouse its a very pleasant place to sit. There is a 30" depth space at the back of the summerhouse for useful storage and it feels very 'connected' with the patio and embankment. I moved all my garden tools from the old shed to a new, smaller tool shed next to the house.

A lovely use of space. The summerhouse looks a really good place to sit and read.

Thanks all. It is a restful place. I am toying with the idea of making the roof a 'green roof'. It's strong enough, so maybe thats a project for next year.

I love your summerhouse - both as a family space and a private hideaway for a few moments peace and quiet!
