First bud is showing and looks like there will be plenty! Such a sweet little thing, it makes little leaf cups, like holding up its folded hands, then opening reveals this frosted purple bud. I can;t wait for them to open.

Its a beautiful little thing, this bush clematis. At work I noticed most of the bush clem flower this way. I chose this for the deep purple, and I'm so glad. Just opened and it is beautiful, curly nodding heads with a pale yellow center.
