A visit to the Sheffield Botanical Gardens to see the wonderful Spring flowers in all their glory coincided with a Cactus and Succulent Society Show and of the many fine specimens exhibited this is the strangest of all. It gives no warning of the many vicious barbed spines concealed within the cuddlesome deep woolly coat. It was difficult to keep my hands away from this apparent offer of a little comfort. I was assured that so far no one has ever heard it purr or say baa-aah although they do live in hope.
How amazing :o) Like you say, it looks so fluffy!
