Brilliant photo our savours in the 2nd world war. Seen lots of these for real when my sister use to live on a raf camp and I use to stay with her.

I would of done too, as it has the history behind it too. I some times think when I see these show on tv they are getting worse in some aspects in design like a concrete jungle with a few flowers.

Aren't they just ! I wasn't impressed with any of the show gardens this year :~(

What a disappointment for your day out what a shame.

I still picked up a few ornaments and some perennial lobelias, so it wasn't all bad ! lol
