One of my favourite plants, think it is because it lasts for a long while.

Great colour,does it spread much?

it doesn't seem to, but we are clay soil here so maybe that is why, it gets bushier but never seems to spread out if that makes sense. Very compact bush shape, I have now put three more in the big border hoping that they meet up but not so far.

Oh well,another one to consider....

That's a terrible shame isn't it, another one to add to the long list. LOL - do we ever need excuses for buying another plant - most definitely NOT! Lol I am off to look for some low growing plants to put in the front border that I have just extended, put some aquilegia in that I grew from seed but need something a bit lower at the front of the border that will creep, without being too invasive.

The only excuse i need for buying plants is'it makes me happy' :-)
I Love creeping Geranium and Campanula.I tried creeping purple alyssum this year(annual) and it turned quite nice.

Campanula now there is an idea - for the front border, was wondering what to get for it. there is a lovely blue low growing one which spreads like crazy - don't know it's name but will find it out I am sure.

Campanula cochleariifolia is lovely,i use that a lot.Very easy to grow and I find it very graceful.
