Budlea "tree" that was overhanging arch and killing the grass and near by plants now gone. The arch is home built, made a short while before I started the whole garden project.Saw one like it in a garden centre for £100,so I brought the wood from the same place for £40.took about a day and a half to make and fix in ground.Atleast I have the pleasure in saying I made it.I have planted 2 Clematis one either side to grow up it about 2 yrs ago, but the sap from the Budlea has killed the left hand one.luckily the right hand one is still ok.not flowered yet though. The Yukka plant to the left was also planted about 2 or 3 yrs ago,was in a pot no more than a foot high, doing well now, although it has also been covered in the sap from the Budlea, which I think killed a lot of leaves off prematurely.
