1st build water feature

This is the start of building the pond at the other end of the stream.
I thought doing the patio and walls was bad enough a task.Look at this....am I mad or something? I did wonder when I started lol.Trying to get things level was almost impossible.
Note to oneself......never try to build a pond in the future on a slope, no matter how small a slope it is.

I thought about putting in a bog last year, or a pond, but that's exactly why I didn't start! I couldn't afford to have everything done for me so I'd have to do it all on my own. And then I realized that it would most likely go the way of all the other unfinished projects around the house.
