Thanks Sandra and Carol I wasn't sure if he was a pigeon or a collared dove as I am sure he/she has a white collar -you can see a bit of it so I knew it was bird ....lol ;-

coloured doves alot smaller richard and just pale grey with white collar, no other markings,

so it is a pigeon then Sandra ;-)

yep a wood pigeon, the largest of them all, common pigeons smaller and more colour infact mixed colours from grey to brown to white and grey,, i love the woodpigeons and doves cause they arent a pain and either alone or in pairs, but common ones take over and ruin the garden
