Finaly the Saponaria Officinalis has flowers on it. Thnaks to Spritzhenry for naming it.

I'm sure it's a type of phlox. I have a similar plant, but pink, behind my pond.
It emerged from nowhere about 6 weeks ago, and flowered this week. There is a huge clump of them now.

different plants andy,, can see a similarity though, i have 3 different colour phlox, very pretty

Hey Andy. It's not a phlox and has been revealed as a Saponaria Officinalis by Spritzhenry on another pic of it. Probably getting rid as i've been told its a bit of a thug, pretty thug but stilla thug in most gardens! lol
