Monardas - I thought I had lost this pink one, but I found it again

It can flop a little but in my big border with everything else it is fairly well propped up and doesn't need too much attention, it grows fairly tall so would say middle to outer section of borders another one well worth the garden space.

Sorry yes it is perennial, and grows and covers fairly fast, could become invasive if you don't control it, but that is fine where I am concerned, like things to spread and cover the ground quickly here.

This looks a lovely plant is it a perennial? Does it require staking? I need to increase my perennial plants by ones that don't require staking because I can't keep up with everything I need to do in the garden.
