Heliopsis 'Helhan' - Loraine Sunshine

Luv the Leaf colour on this :)

This is the largest and best the plant ever looked. The leaves really are fabulous.. white leaves with dark green veins. The bunnies ate it down to the ground the day after this was taken :(
That was last year, and it recovered, but didn't bloom again as the tops were eaten again and again.
It's looking good this year and should bloom soon. Hopefully I can get a few shots before the bunnies get to it..

The plant was partially eaten again today.
If the plant makes it through the night, it will be relocated into the back yard tomorrow.. the bunnies can't get in there.

They really are! Almost leathery. I highly recommend this plant, but put it where bunnies can't get at it. They LOVE snacking on the plant just as it starts to bloom.
