White Begonia

Getting very big with many of these yellow centered white blooms. I'm finding it more interesting than I thought white would be.

At first glance I thought it was a rose.

Thank you. This is a rose form begonia. They are really doing a great show. Just to pass along some knowledge, the big one is a female flower, the smaller are male. Most show begonias have the males removed to let the females get all the energy.

I have heard that and every year I think I will remove the male flower and every year I can't bring myself to do it. ;0))

I think it and do sometimes, others I don't. The female does seem to get bigger if you take them early. And it looks more orderly. I can see why it is a must for shows.
