Bullfrog

I had written a blog last week about the increase in amphibian species at my place. This morning I went outside to clean out some cat litterboxes and found this young bullfrog. I've never seen a bullfrog here before, although of course they're residents of every pond and stream in the area. I was surprised to find such an aquatic species in my front yard. Then, just now, I found another young bullfrog in the same spot!
