This half basket seems to have done better than the full basket that went to the show. I think this variety needs a bit of sunshine. Always wary of the sun as it burns the leaves on the double tuberous begonias.

Beautiful! It does seem to like light more than most begonias. Yours is looking great. Seems a bit cool for mine anywhere I try it. Always dropping leaves.

Another beauty!

The basket i had at the show kept dropping the flowers, not the leaves. Not sure if it would be for the same reason. The Begonias can be fussy plants, too wet, too dry, too light, too dark - and a lot of them seem to prefer different conditions. Still, we all learn by our mistakes - Bonfire, Million Kisses, and I think Peardrop (although not 100% sure with that one) seem to prefer the sunlight, and it hasn't seemed to burn the leaves, yet! I will be putting my baskets out for the shows earlier next year.

They are certainly something to be proud of Mark, they're beauties!
