I noticed this poor butterfly had part of his wing missing, but it didn't stop him flying. he seemed to like settling on the window frame.

Thanks for your comments. Yes 6d it s sad about his wing. I got a pic of a moth the other day, and that has a piece out of its wing just like this butterfly.............How strange is that?

I think I remember either reading or hearing it on TV that sometimes the wing gets damaged when they hatch out from the chrysalis, so perhaps thats the our answer 6d. Perhaps the last part of it gets caught or stuck as the piccy I have of the moth has a piece missing and it seems to be in the same area. I will upload the moth pic on my page for you to have a look 6d.
