they look lovely .lost a lot of mine to blight , still have some in green house .

I can tell your an old pro. Wish I could put my hand in my computer & pinch a few of those! They look yummy!

I can remember that which had the less tougher skin.

I think ' Shirley ' won that one but not by much. All the varieties had slightly tough skins but Shirley was slightly better. Do you know what causes the skins to be tough 6d. it would be quite interesting to know. Perhaps its weather related do you think?
