your garden looks fantastic

Thanks Irish. Everything is so green because of all the rain and cool weather we've had. I don't start getting a lot of color until the end of June int July. I'm especially happy with the grass in the back garden, A couple years ago I bought a large bag of white clover seed and we heavily seeded. Even in the very hot weather the lawn stays nice and green.

my own lawn is in an awful state, mostly because of the two dogs running around it,, my plan is to put patio slabs across one side of the garden and then i will pay some attention to the poor grass.
your garden is going to be wonderful when everything comes into flower.

Like the hostas. I think green looks calming. You don't always need lots of colours for something to look good.

I very much agree Blodyn. As I repalce plants I want to bring in more yellow, red and different shades of green foliage. I know what you mean about the dogs Irish. I can tell the difference in the lawn where we constantly walk when we go along with Maxi to her favorite spot to do her business.
