I put this on the bottom wall about 5 ft away from my Montana Grandiflora.
Did think it might be strangled but after a couple of years it really blooms well showing up well through the untidy mass of Montana foliage (I must cut that back next year as it has travelled 30 ft plus from side to side and will be attacking the alotments now it has bridged the 3 foot gap to their netted boundaries) and although it finishes flowing by the end of July, I still get a few single blooms later.
Its about 4 years old now and the Montana about 8 years old.

do you remember spirographs? did you ever have one? it was my pride and joy when i was about 11. this looks rather better than the pictures they could draw.
