Sumac yes, it goes a lovely colour in the Autumn, chopped it down really hard last year and it has done it really good.

I was hoping it would have the candles on it (stags horn) is it the same as the stags horn tree?

It doesn't look like the Stags Horn Sumach Mum. there are a few vars. and the Stags Horn is the only one I've ever grown. Terrible for suckering but a beautiful addition in autumn.

Like my sorbaria, which looks like it should be related, similar leaves and flowers but smaller. I had to take it out, it was coming up all over the place!

A great clump of it too! Not my thing as I'm sure you know, but it's lovely next to that........is it a sumach of some sort? That 'is' my thing!
