So do we...until we have to varnish it! It is pretreated, but looking quite grey now.

The silvery grey is quite pretty..but beside all the lovely warm terra cotta ..I see what you mean.

Well we could only afford those ugly grey brieze block walls around back garden - would have loved red brick to go with house - so we painted the whole shebang a soft pale green, made all the difference. Unfortunately they still look quite grey in photos.

All that pink brick in the photos of Hampton Court Castle...I love it..it's warm and welcoming... sorry I think I missed something though...what was it you painted? You mean the pavers?
