Awwww, so cute! Hello Opie! I think he's smiling for the camera.

Yes I love his smile...but his stare is a little disconcerting... He's a lovely pet. Doesn't go in for a lot of handling tho. It took some fiddling with the settings to get a picture of him through the terrarium glass...didn't want to blind him with the flash!

The exotic pet idea came from my children...my son had a day gecko and they are much harder to keep in our cold climate than Opie's type of gecko. Never thought I'd call a rodent or a herp "cute"...I have been educated by my children. Opie is a very sweet fellow.
