Castor Oil Plant or Ricinus - great succes rate with the seeds and they have grown sooo big! Possibly my favourite seed this year.

My local council grew this a few years ago in the city centre as a centre plant in the bedding. It caused quite a stir, as the plant seeded and the gardeners had to cut off all the seed heads due to them being toxic.
The deadly poison ricin comes from this plant: it was the one that killed the forign diplomat on London bridge a few years ago. He was shot with a bullet coated in Ricin fired from the tip of an umbrella!
