check to make sure your attic is secure...and then welcome him. Had one of these as a pet when I was younger...raccoons are snugglier than kittens...and so smart.

My attic is secure, I think the presence of my mother's big male golden retriever sent him up the tree. He came down quite soon after we all went inside.

A little different than seeing next doors tom cat up a tree !

These guys are usually nocturnal... lucky you to get such a nice shot :)
