Bougainvillea 2 months later!

Taken on September 30th, the plant was 5ft high and flowering well, as you can see! The winter killed it off, but I will be trying again this coming spring.

If I can get one planted out earlier: middle of March, I think I might get lucky with overwintering it. My Dahlia merckii is left in the ground all the time, but this year it was dined upon by snails just when it was growing away nicely.

kept ours in the house for about two years or more then I decided it had to go out, it died, shame
