The bush has grown back to the size it was last year and is carrying many blooms. This was the peak of the bush. It bloomed right up to freeze but never got as many as this at once. I made the obelisk quickly and must make something better for next year.

Thank you. I know that most people have roses in most places, but here, this is relatively rare. I don't know that I've looked at anyone's roses that weren't purchased that year. I'm proud to have it overwintering.

Gilli is the secret weapon for my roses San. :-) She gets about 20 degrees higher than we do in her part of B.C., so still very cold. I got some tips from her on planting and keeping, and look how wonderfully they are doing after a winter here!

Lol! :-) Thank you Gilli. I've gotten the bug now and expect there may be a new one or two added every year at least. :-) Something will always survive.

Morden Blush is rated as a zone 2 rose GT. It's a very nice double pale pink and grows about 3 feet tall down here. Might want to give that one a try.

I will try to get one. I got morden sunrise but too early and it didn't like waiting in the house to get planted out. This year I was able to just bring it home and put it in the unheated greenhouse until the last frosts were past, very warm spring. I'm sure it would do well as this Adelaide is classed down to -50F, that should be Zone 2.
