Rose, 'Classic'

Rose, 'Classic'

A new rose this year, this seems to be a very different type than my other and I hope it does well. The flowers were shown white, but opened very pink and slowly faded.

Can you leave them out in Alaska over the winter?

Thank you. :-) I am leaving this one out this year. I'm less sure of this one than the other, but most of our stock comes right out of Canada for roses to be planted out, so there is less shock and they are relatively hardy. I'll know in the spring. Its already frozen in up here, this shot is from early August. I don't have a cold storage area to keep a rose over.

Oh that's a lovely one. I hope it's hardy for you. Lots of mulch GT.

Thanks, me too. I make a mound of straw for them, that has been working well. Ans please, some good early snow. We're to a good start. :-)
