I don't like ivy Karen sue, that is why they are on their own, lol.I don't mind it in the hedgerows, it is lovely at this time of year, with very pretty flower heads, only place I put up with it.

Oh, I didn't know you had a downer on ivy! It's one of those things, love it or hate it. I love it, particularly the ones with pale or golden variegation. They brighten me up in the winter.

Yes I can understand that the colour is good for you, I remember Dora
had that all over the place that and Chrysanthemums and I hate those as well lol. I'll say no more.

Me neither but guess what Sarah liked them when she was younger made me wonder if it was in the genes lol. lol. lol. don't think she has the same feeling about them now, she hasn't got any in the house. maybe it was just a child thing.

Maybe it just shows that there is nothing really wrong with Cacti Mum? The flowers are certainly beautiful aren't they! Its only the association that is negative, not the plant itself....?

Yes I know. I still have a christmas cacti (flowering just now) but that is about it, I bought it because it was a pretty peach/pink flower and it flowers at really strange times, like now and March and just when it feels like it. lol. not really cacti looking are they, no prickly spikes.

Exactly, I can cope with them also, although I don't actually have any at the moment. I don't think I'll ever love the prickly ones though!
