Who knows what this plant is called please? Not the begonia, but the other one, with the purple flowers.

Does anyone know its name?

Yes, so do I. And so easy to propagate, in full bloom all the time, and with so many seeds falling off each day. It needs a lot of water though.

Hi Gill,
I am sorry to say that my dear old plant does not produce any seeds for the moment. I suddenly realised that I didn't hear the popping sound of seedpods that exploded anymore.
As soon as there are new seeds, I will post them to you. And if they don't seed before we come to London once again, I'll bring you a whole plant ;-)
But first we are going to Edinburgh, from 14 th till 21 st November. I will bring David lots of plants. Do you know if there are any restrictions on bringing plants into Scotland? I am going to hide them in my suitcase (carefully wrapped).
Bye for now,
Hilda

Hilda, think you should put this as a question on here, because there are a lot of scottish folk who I am sure could answer this for you. Ok. Dont worry about the seeds, another time, no worries!! Enjoy Scotland, wrap up warm !
