Thankyou for your comment Oliveoil.I have also noticed all the colour still about for the beginning of November, and as you said there's still plenty of leaves on the trees. I took a photo of a maple tree yesterday outside our property which has quite a lot left on it. The autumn colours are really stunning this year. I posted a photo of my polygonium (pink bubbles) yesterday and this is the first year I have noticed it turning red like this, the leaves are a beautiful. I'm like you I love the spring because of all the pretty bulbs etc. but also we know the next season will be summer!!...HOORAY!.............LOL

All looking great still Lin, isn't it good to still be seeing so much colour in the garden, still a lot of leaves on trees also. November next week and I am sure seeing all this colour keeps us going through the cold and damp. Not looking forward to November it is always the worst month for me. Think it is the getting used to the darker nights after we change the clocks, when Christmas has been and gone I can start to look forwards to spring. lol really looking forward to seeing the bulbs up and in flower again, shouldn't wish my time away I know, but I love springtime.
