Last of the garden blooms for this year...

This bought back so many memories....I use to love walking on the leaves going to school, still love the sound they make.

They do add a patch of colour to your garden.

That is a purple weigela, Lori, I just got lucky with the height & the colour working out as well as it did!

I love weigela blossoms! it's a beautiful shrub. Looks lovely..isn't it nice to see the colour combos shift?
