Never seen this before -- a bulb appears on top of the stalk and starts to shoot!!!!!

I cut off the stalks after flowering in August and kept them indoors, sticking them in water. Then this! Funny :o)

It must have looked really nice when in flower. You might have baby plants on your hands. ;o)

I grow Eucomis....Lovely plant....I have a beauty called 'sparkling burgundy'...but i've never seen this Tommy/m...:>)
