Yes, just as well!! Would you believe that our neighbours behind...ones with three labradors in a shed....have now converted their tiny garage to a sitting room with an open fire in it!! Yesterday my garden was full of black acrid smoke! Apparently this same woman walks the dogs in the park and never picks up the poo and the locals are threatening to report her. If I see her I will!! Bloomin neighbours, I need to get a barricade or a 10' high fence!!! Still, I was worried about my trees on their boundary getting too big and dropping leaves in their garden.....stopped worrying about that now!!

Did they get planning permission to alter the garage to a living room? I would ask some questions of the council if I was you. Wonder if that is for them or the dogs to live in. lol.

Yes, I checked yesterday. Amazingly , the council passed it!! Serve em right if the house burns down! idiots...sorry, but that's just ridiculous! Yeah, perhaps the dogs are in there!! They're certainly not barking so much these days!

Just amazing what these Councils will pass now. Wonder if it is a log burner also which will serve their central heating, maybe that is how they got permission for it.

don't think so mum. Just a solid fuel fire. My friend knows someone who put a log burner into their new timber framed house.....house burned down and they were lucky to get out!
