winter comes too early

Oh dear, have you any dried fruit, leftovers etc. for them? Clarice posted a pic recently showing how she made left-overs into bird food. Might be worth a look ?

thanks Shirley...already searched the cupboard and have a dish of: crushed biscuits,grated cheese,sultanas and crushed peanuts which I still have quite few. Trouble is they are going through so much at the moment with two large feeders not lasting a day as well as three lots of ground feed.Just love my birds.

boil some spuds up and crush when cold , the birds love them, old cake, anything fatty chopped small, even ask your neighbours to save scraps for you, im sure they wont mind
