poor things, bet they were cold

Probably walking past on their way home from the school, i would guess. Has been very cold today, it's been cold in the flat so it must be colder outside. I'm going to light the fire tonight before it gets any colder.

minus 2 here today, had snow this afternoon, forecast is dreadful, keep wrapped up and keep warm.

Listened to the radio this morning, they said it had been -18 somewhere in Wales. They said it might get down as low as -20. I certainly hope that doesn't last long, but it is supposed to be bad for a couple of weeks.

looks very wild, been - 20 round Inverness this week so I think we are lucky. although we have plenty snow its only been -2 to-3 here

Night before last it was -8. Not so bad last night, we had a bit more snow. Luckily not enough to cause major problems, looks awful in some areas on TV.
