cerise queen

I have the Achillea 'cerise queen' and the 'cherry queen ' , I like them , do you split your plants Lemondog or let them spread themselves ?

i do not know cherry queen amy, mine were all grown from seed last year. i have got a few older ones all shades of pink which were in the first packet of mixed perennials i started the garden with five years ago and they spread well and i divide also.

I hadn't thought of growing them from seed .. I already have loads of packets of different kinds of seed that I have been collecting ready for spring , it gives you something to look forward to .. :o)

no it is not still flowering bornagain, just catching up with my plant files. Amy please let me encourage you to grow plants from seed, there are too many good reasond for doing so but the wonder that washes over you when the flowers opens and reveals its beauty, cannot be surpassed, you gave it life, you placed it there and nutured it. So many shaped and sizes and so many colours and perfumes, go for it Amy. achillea is a good place to start, very easy and soo many colours to see, enjoy.
