I'm hoping to show you!!! My heating system broke down last night, repair man ordered a part. No heat at the moment. Over at my mom's for shower and then electric heater goes on. Brrr.

Nope, heating still off. Waiting for part to come in. Bought a really nice looking wooden burner today. Will take pic when ready. Oh boy, double heating...my kind of house.

Not yet Val....at least the wood burner is going. Plus our weather is going to be on the warm side again. Hopefully the new part comes in tomorrow.
Tomorrow is my son Yanni name day. That's a whole thing here in Greece, if you are named like one of the Saints you celebrate on that day....99.9% of us have a name day!!! It's a pain if you ask me. So, it's a party tomorrow night.

glad the wood burner is working, I found that intresting about a name day, sounds good enough reason to me to have a party, how many will you have to entertain, do you have to buy a gift Etc how old is Yanni!! lucky you if the weather is going to pick up, they keep forecasting snow for here, roll on the spring,

Believe me name day's are not fun!!! Yes, you have to buy a gift and everyone I know has a name day, verrry expensive. Nick is my worst name day.....I have seven in my family, which means going from one house to the other...
I have no idea how many people are turning up tomorrow...you don't invite, people just pop in.

I think it sounds great, lucky you, hey you must have a name day every day of the week, Oh see what you mean about expensive, good grief Alex how many people do you know that has a name day, there must be hundreds, Oh no you will have to stop buying a present for all of them, its going to cost a fortune, now I am feeling sorry for you.

I only go to family members (including all my cousins) and friends...
We are over at one of my god child's house tomorrow for lunch then I will come home and start cooking. Nothing grand just little bites and sweets and such.

Isnt it odd Alex, parties are great when you are a kid, but too many in a year gets hard work when you grow up!

Oh Yorkshire, when they all left I was so relieved. It was nice though, they were all my friends.

Actually, funny you should say that Alex..I was thinking the party thing thru..great idea to have all your friends around, everyone says great idea..then comes the preparation..the night before you are "ackered", then the day arrives and you exist on adrenalin..then collups after they all leave, your tired but happy. The next day you need a holiday..go away for couple weeks, come back, need a party to see all your friends...and round and round it goes....lol!

LOL.....well you would love it then. We don't just have parties but we have to go to loads of them too. I enjoy going to them...watch the others have a hard time while I'm enjoying my coffee.....naughty Alex.
