Yes Yorkshire... The fruit are small, but edible. They have a real sharp citrus flavour, which is very pleasant.

im fascinated!
have you had the tree long? is it in a greenhouse?

I have had the tree about a year now, and it lives indoors in bright sunny window sill. It was covered in sweetly scented flowers all summer, the perfume from them is heavenly.

No Stickitoffee. I am in the Midlands too. We are quite high up though, so we get the sun to the front of the house first thing in a morning.

Yes Sixpence... I was wondering if I could grow plants from the small pips inside the fruits.

worth a try!

Yes you could like all fruit pips, but you would have to get it polinated.

Thank you Sixpence. The orange tree spent most of the summer outdoors, and was visited by many bees. So I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Thats what you need the bees to polinate the seed when it grows.

Yes Sixpence... Can you remember a little that bloke once sang about oh what a glorious thing to bee... a busy, busy bee.
11 Jan, 2011

Bless them both... I have seen the moths fluttering around my evening primrose's at dusk. Bat's are also up and about. Probably after the moths.
