Flowers are purple/blue Kinda looks like buttercup foliage doesn't if Jacque...? biggest difference is that it's leaves are shiny. It is also poisonous, but much moreso than buttercup. Aconite, (Wolf's Bane) has been a serious poison since the Greeks...and probably before...it grows wild in the mountains of France, Switzerland and Germany, ... grow 2 to 4 ft tall. Medicinally it has to be used with great care and knowledge... according to my herbal it's an ingredient in some liniments. Don't let children around it... other than that it is great ornamentally.
