An older photo, scanned & uploaded. Looks like the show that used to be held at Percy Throwers Garden Centre.
I think the plant is Jennifer Wilson, Double Tuberous Begonia

The pot looks a bit dark, but the flowers seem to be brighter. Shame i hadn't written the year on the photo. Must be an old one though, or it would have been with my digital pictures.

I guess you're right. That's the idea of the black cloth around the pot, this one seems in the shadows though. I suppose that the shadows do make the flowers stand out more.
