This is my adopted donkey "Rhapsody". He was rescued from Hungary.

I love donkeys, if I had enough land I would love to have one or two. We do visit a donkey sanctury sometimes. Welcome to GoY by the way, it's a lovely site.

Rhapsody is just 1 of just over 40 donkeys in Buxton, Derbyshire and they are all well cared for. The donkey I used to sponsor, Sally, passed away last year (she was just really old) so I fell in love with Rhapsody and sponsored him. He and his mate, Blue, were rescued from Hungary by a nice old lady who purchased them and gave them to the donkey sanctuary for safe keeping. They are not open now until Easter and we are eagerly awaiting visiting them all again.
